Baina Beach
This is one of the Best Beach in the Port town of Mormugao, Vasco. Earlier for last 40 years there was Red Light area but it was a Historic day on 14th June 2004 when acting on the orders of High Court the then Chief Minister Shri Manohar Parrikar gave orders to eliminate the area and accordingly the administraton – The Police, The Mamlatdar, The Collector acted boldy and cleared the area giving relief the good citizens around, the Red Light area was a BLACK spot for the people of Baina Vasco & entire Goa. Before and after clearing the area amply opportunity was given of rehabilitation. Now Baina Beach is a Tourist spot with Water Sports, Cultural Programmes etc.
