Betul Beach
Betul Beach is one of the beautiful and virgin beaches of South Goa which is located on the estuary of the river Sal which meets the Arabian Sea near Betul. Betul is a fishing village which possesses a relatively secluded and picturesque beach overlooking the wide estuary, delightfully shaded by coconut palms and fruit trees.

Headlands from the slopes of the Western Ghats protrude into the shore giving the whole area an imposing backdrop. Betul enjoys an idyllic setting and enjoys a moderate climate made possible by the cool sea breeze it enjoys. To the immediate north of the estuary is the Mobor beach and peninsula which provides a breathtaking aerial view of the Betul hillock and the adjoining beach. Betul Beach is renowned for Goa’s finest and largest mussels.
The Beach is also famous for fishing and quite a number of tourists visit this beach to enjoy fishing as the fishing port situated here is well advanced. A number of deep sea trawlers and fishing boats also bring in their fresh catch here. There are boats on hire and regular ferries here that takes the visitors across from Mobor.
