Cafe Mambo, located at the Baga beach, is within walking distance from Calangute. The café started as another run of the mill joint, gained immemnse popularity immediately.
However, the crowds started dwindling after some time. Efforts are being made to develop into hip and hop place, by creating great ambience and some creatively, performed music. The café has made efforts to attract the younger crowd by scheduling different genres of music on different weekdays. Thus, Mondays and Wednesdays are Hip Hop House music, Tuesdays bring in the House music, and Thursdays are reserved for Salsa House music. Fridays for Corona Nite with Guest DJ while Saturdays and Sundays are Karaoke Nite & Retro music.

The open air lounge encircles an enclosed dance area giving guests an opportunity to choose between chilling out over a couple of snacks washed down by their favourite spirits or wearing out their heels dancing.
