Club Fresh
‘Club Fresh has returned to its original location in Morjim after a year’s stint in Candolim. This elegant beach lounge is easily one of the best seasonal restaurants in Goa that serves some mind-blowing Thai and Oriental food. This all-white look restaurant was earlier located on Morjim beach. The prices are a little on the higher side and a Mixed Seafood Platter, one of their best bets and done with a sauce of their choice, will set one back by Rs. 2,500. Thai classics like Bangkok-style tossed noodles with chicken and prawns and with some Oriental infusions are extremely well done and smartly presented. Their Prawn Fried Rice is recommended. The rice is fried with the Southeast Asian dry shrimp and served as a small mound on a plate with a big, superbly cooked tiger prawn set like a flower atop the rice. There’s also Sushi and Sashimi, Japanese-style raw fish, with a big choice of fish and small or large platters. And international favourites like steaks and pork chops. Not to forget the great bar menu. There’s lounge music in the evenings, avant garde performances and exotic dancing by the Lucent Ducier troupe from Los Angeles. ‘Club Fresh’
