Odxel Beach is a perfect beach for those who want to relax, relax and only relax in Goa. This unspoilt and calm beach is located near the Bainguinim town of Goa.Odxel Beach is often flocked by the loungers and lazy bones who love to spend their time in peace and privacy. The sandy beach facing the sea with swaying palms in the background make it a perfect escape from the other commercial beaches of Goa. Odxel beach is located at a distance of approxiamately 10 kilometers from Panjim, in the villae of Odxel. The beach is a favourite picnic spot of the local people, and not known on the tourist map. The beach is not vary favourable to swim as there are a lot of rocks. The beach offers a quite and peaceful place to just relax. The locals are quite friendly too. The beach is small, approxiamately 250 meters in length but is very pleasant and quite.

Attractions around :- There is a chapel right on the beach. Many a couple have got married here. The chapel caters to the local catholic population in the village. There is also a shrine of Mother Mary h-here. The residence of the Governor of Goa, the Cabo Raj Bhavan is situated at DonaPaula not very far from here. It is also home of a historic British war-graves cemetery. One can visit the Governer’s Palace after obtaining prior permission. There is a chapel in the Governors’ residence where the locals offer mass and prayers every sunday. The National Institute of Oceanography, the premier institute of oceanic research is situated here. Not too far from here lie the Goa University and the International Centre Goa.

Things To Do : Besides admiring the view, you can also swim, although a little away from the rocky areas. If you are staying for a few days at Dona-Paula, then you can take a few scube diving lessons as well as learn to windsurf at the local nautical club.

Places to eat :- There are a few restaurants at Doa-Paula. The ‘Nautica’ bar and restaurant as well as ‘Casa Menino’ offer a few delicacies. You can also experience fine cuisine right on the sea front at the ‘Sea Pebble’ restaurant that serves the best sea-food. The ‘Goan Delicacy’ restaurant just on the opposite side on ‘Hawaii’ beach is another place where you will get to savour true goan cooking.

How to reach Oxdel beach :-All the buses come in from the main bus stand at Panjim directly to Dona-Paula and Bambolim. Odxel is located between Dona-Paula and Bambolim just before the Goa University. It generally takes about 30 minutes to commute. You can also avail a hired taxi or two wheeler as well.

Accommodations near Odxel Beach :- You will have to stay in Dona-Paula. You will find a few good three star resorts as well as apartment styled guest houses offering magnificient views of the bay.
