Information overload can be upsetting. Especially in times when staying self isolated is the norm to battle the pandemic; it can be quite hard to not use the internet and television to stay updated on news. Make an effort to switch off your screens once in a while to relieve your body and mind.
Take care of your body
Meditate, eat well-balanced meals, take deep breaths. Aside from staying safe, stay healthy.In order to be resilient to the virus it’s important to have a high protien diet.
Make time to unwind
Use a few minutes of your day to do something you enjoy. But make sure all outdoor activities follow the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Connect with others
Take the time to talk to people you trust about your concerns and how you’re feeling. It’s of utmost importance you don’t feel alone in these solitary times and connect with your friends and family.
The situation may be overwhelming, but coping with stress will make you, the people you care about, and your community stronger.
